Psychiatry Policies

Private Pay:

We offer discounted self pay rates for our private Pay patients. Please call our office for more information about our rates. Many of our Private Pay Families obtain some reimbursement from their Insurance Companies for fees paid out of pocket. It is Client responsibility to inquire with their Insurance companies regarding details of the reimbursement process, including out of network participation policies. To assist with this process, the practice will provide a copy of the superbill to the client. This superbill will include the necessary Insurance required documentation to obtain reimbursement.

Insurance Participation:

Currently the Practice of Centre Pointe Health- Psychiatric Services only participates with Aetna Insurance. If a referral from primary care physician is required by the Insurance Company, it is the patient’s responsibility to obtain this authorization/referral prior to the scheduled appointment.

Late cancel/No Show

Changes to appointment schedules or cancellations are to be made at least 24 hrs in advance to the scheduled appt.

Per Practice Policy there will be a $100 Late cancel/No Show fee pertaining to the initial visit. This fee will be applied to the Patient account if a cancellation is made less than 24 hrs in advance or if there is a No Show for the appointment.

Medications/ Medication Refills

The office asks for 48 hour advance notice for all medication refill requests.

Please make sure that you provide the following information:

  • Patient’s name and date of birth
  • Caller’s name (if different) and phone number
  • Drug name, dosage and how it is taken
  • The pharmacy name and phone number
